"Everything Dies" is a song by Type O Negative, included on their fifth album World Coming Down, released in 1999. It has some alternative rock riffs with a doom metal intro. The song is split into two cantos. The first canto is the title one comprising the body of this song, and the second canto titled "They're All Dead" is the acoustic outro lasting for the last 80 seconds of the nearly 8-minute track. The verses contain samples of faint seagull mews.
This song is about his wish that several of his family members (his uncle, aunt, and father) are still alive (plus his mother might soon die), and that in order for him to see them again, he wishes to die.
It is one of two singles released from this album (along with "Everyone I Love Is Dead") and this track is also included on the compilation albums The Least Worst Of and The Best of Type O Negative as well as on DVD Symphony for the Devil.
There is an official music video for this song.

[Canto I. "Everything Dies"]
I like vitamins
I like vitamins
I like vitamins
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
Well I loved my aunt
But she died
And my uncle Lou
Then he died
I'm searching for something which can't be found
But I'm hoping
I still dream of dad
Though he died
Everything dies
Everything dies
My ma's so sick she might die
Though my girl's quite fit she will die
Still looking for someone who was around
Barely coping
Now I hate myself
Wish I'd die
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything
(No why)
Oh god I miss you
(No why)
Oh god I miss you
I really miss you
(no no no no)
(No why)
Oh god I miss you
(No why)
Oh god I miss you
I really miss you
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
I like vitamins
(He likes vitamins)
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything
(no no no no)
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything dies
Everything
