"Wolf Moon (Including Zoanthropic Paranoia)" is a song by Type O Negative, included on their fourth album October Rust, released in 1996. Popularly referred simply as "Wolf Moon", the song may come to mind of them transforming into a werewolf from looking at the full moon. Generally, Wolf Moon is the name of the full moon that occurs in January, the month where wolves howl the most during the breeding season. The song is about a man transforming into a werewolf then performing oral sex on a menstruating woman.
"Zoanthropic Paranoia" in the title refers to the one who believes that he is a non-human animal—a wolf in this case–with strong desire to eat human flesh during the sexual encounter. 'Unholy water' displayed in the lyrics means blood, 'silver bullets' means tears, which is the only weapon against werewolves, 'iron in the air' means the smell of blood, 'curse' refers to woman's period, and 'meating' (not meeting) means having sex.
Keyboard is the first instrument heard that begins the track and also be heard mixed in during the verses, and last one to let up at the end as well.
There is a fan-made music video for this song.

Lyrics[]
The 28th day
She'll be bleeding again
And in lupine ways
We'll alleviate the pain
Unholy water
Sanguine addiction
Those silver bullets
A last blood benediction
It is her moon time
When there's iron in the air
A rusted essence
Woman may I know you're there?
Unholy water
Sanguine addiction
Those silver bullets
A last blood benediction
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Don't spill a drop dear
Let me kiss the curse away
Yourself in my mouth
Will you leave me with your taste?
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Beware
the woods at night
Beware
the lunar light
So in this gray haze,
we'll be meating again
And on that great day,
I will tease you all the same
Unholy water
Sanguine addiction
Those silver bullets
A last blood benediction
[Choir]
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Hey wolf moon,
come cast your spell on me
Beware
the woods at night
Beware
the lunar light
[Choir]
